Hello friends, family, and anyone who may not know me yet!

My name is Audrey King. I am 18 years old, I live in Sparta TN, and I recently graduated high school in May! I was homeschooled for the majority of my life, and have chosen to take a gap year to really focus on what it is that God wants  to do in my life.

I grew up in church my whole life. We were always there every time the doors were open, so I have known God for a long time. It wasn't until I was older though that I began to really develop my relationship with Christ.

These past two years especially have been full of growth and change for me, as I'm sure they have been for many others considering we've been through a pandemic and all. But God has really stretched me and is constantly revealing more of who he is and who he wants me to be.

A few months ago though, God started talking to me about partnering with Semesters to serve in Africa. As I really began praying and studying God just really confirmed that this was the next step for me. I have never really had a clear picture of what I wanted to do with my life, there have been a few things that I almost committed to but it just never worked out or never felt right. When people would ask me what my plans for the future were I got very insecure, because everyone around me seemed to have it all figured out and I felt completely lost. Through this process God has shown me that he has me in this very position for a reason. If had known exactly what I wanted to do or if everything worked out and I chose to go college this fall, I wouldn't have been available to this calling.

That being said, I am going to be serving in Africa for 3 months starting January 2022! I will be going to South Africa, Lesotho, and Eswatini. I am spending 1 month in each country and cannot be more exited to see what God teaches me and does in my life through this ministry! I am so ready serve and love on the wonderful people of Africa and to grow in community with my squad and with God! I don't know what life after Africa looks like, but I am more exited than ever to find out!

Your prayers and support are so appreciated, and I'm so thankful for every single one of you who is here right now!

Thank you for being on this journey with me! It's gonna be epic!

- Audrey
