Week 4 already! I feel like it was just the other day when I arrived in Georgia and met 12 strangers who quickly became family, but I also feel like that was another lifetime! 

A lot has happened in 4 weeks, starting with training camp, then a 15 hour flight to Johannesburg, and next Eswatini! We have gotten the honor to work together with Impact Africa during our time here in South Africa, working in a few different ministries they have here. Community outreach is one of our favorites. We get the privilege to go into the communities here in Jo-burg and walk the streets going house to house meeting people and learning their stories while sometimes helping with chores like washing clothes or doing dishes. Through this we get to talk about Jesus and share his love and his goodness with them. We have met so many incredible people through community outreach, not only have we met people who are incredibly strong in their faith, but some of our teams have also seen multiple salvations!!!

Another ministry we have worked with a lot is I.S. which is Impact Students. We get to go into the local schools here and teach them about God and the plans he has for them. It’s really awesome just getting to talk with students and encourage them. This next week we are going to a more rural community two hours outside of Jo-burg to do student ministry all week in their high schools. We are going to be camping outside of a church for the week which is really cool! The Lord has been teaching me so much since coming here and I can’t wait to share more about it! But for now I’m gonna leave you with this:

Psalm 27:13

I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
